The University of Mary Washington Foundation is constructing a new 4- story, $55 million, 105,685 square-foot Campus Center for the University. This multi-use facility will house a new 800 seat board, dining and kitchen facility, student organization offices and collaboration spaces, a 470 seat ballroom, conference style meeting rooms, a campus career counseling center , gaming areas, a retail dining venue and the Student Affairs administrative offices. The building’s façade will be a combination of brick and cast stone, maintaining the campus’s classic Jeffersonian style architecture.
Construction of this LEED Silver building started the summer of 2013 and is scheduled for a grand opening in the fall semester of 2015.
