Concord was retained by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP) as the project manager and owner’s representative to advise and manage all aspects of their real estate needs. CEIP elected to purchase a new building site, requiring not only development management services in connection with the new building but services in connection with the disposition of their existing leased space as well.
Assembling a team of consultants to complete the site analysis, acquisition, bridge and bond financing, design, construction, leasing and management, Concord also coordinated the interior design planning for CEIP as well as seven other third-party tenants leasing space in the building.
This eight-story office building was commissioned, designed and constructed as the new headquarters of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a foreign policy think tank. Their new headquarters includes a state-of-the-art 3,770 square foot conference facility designed to provide a regular meeting site for many institutions, think tanks, and foundations hosting dignitaries from around the world.
