As lead consultant for the Los Angeles Unified School District from 2000-2005, Concord Eastridge affiliate TEC developed and implemented a program and a process for managing over $1.5 billion in land assemblages and acquisitions for over 900 land parcels.
The 5-year assignment started with TEC formulating a comprehensive acquisition plan that created three Acquisition Teams, each focused on an expansive geography within the second largest school district in the U.S., with detailed acquisition strategies, relocation plans for residential and commercial owners and occupants, community meetings, zoning and entitlements, environmental reviews, purchase and sale agreements, site plans, architectural plans and ultimately the development of new campus facilities.
