Inderkum High School is an award-winning regional 2,000-student high school located within a 200-acre master-planned community project in northern Sacramento, known as the Natomas Town Center. The school is part of the Natomas Unified School District.
Concord Eastridge affiliate The Eastridge Companies (TEC) was selected by the Natomas Unified School District to serve as the developer of the new 40-acre high school campus under the California Assembly Bill 17406, allowing for a lease/leaseback delivery of public academic facilities. TEC facilitated the project financing through Piper Jaffray and served as the project manager for the delivery of the new campus. The campus was delivered one month early and over $2 million under budget in time for the fall semester of 2004.
The high school development incorporated many sustainable, energy-efficient design features and has been heralded throughout California as a successful example of a strong public/private partnership.
The Natomas Town Center is comprised of the Inderkum High School, a regional library, a branch of the local community college and a large regional park.
