Local Groups Win Virginia Tech Contract

The Design-Build Team of Concord Eastridge, Virtexco Corp ., Tymoff & Moss Architects, and Aecom has been awarded the contract to design and construct a new facility for Virginia Tech.

The National Institute of Aerospace facility in Hampton is set to open by June 2011. The 60,000-square-foot facility will provide hands-on research opportunities for faculty and graduate students in areas such as unmanned vehicles, laser and electron microscope analysis, chemical synthesis, and robotics.
