Development Director
Ken Owen brings over twenty years of construction and development oversight experience to Concord Eastridge as Development Director. Mr. Owen’s experience in delivering mixed-use, office, retail, multi-family projects as well as structured parking facilities shows strong and effective management, with the capability to streamline all aspects of project execution.
Mr. Owen is responsible for the overall direction of Concord Eastridge’s projects for the Hampton Roads Transit Authority (HRT) in Norfolk, Virginia. Currently underway is the $62 million new Southside Bus Maintenance Facilities and Administration Building for HRT. This build-to-suit project will be completed in early 2011. Additionally, Mr. Owen is responsible for business development support to Concord Eastridge in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia.
Summary of Experience
Prior to joining Concord Eastridge, Mr. Owen served as Vice President of Construction for the Roseland Property Company of Short Hills, New Jersey. During his 10-year employment with Roseland, he managed numerous large-scale developments in New Jersey and Virginia that included multi-family, office, retail and structured parking projects. Previous to Roseland, Mr. Owen held positions with D.R. Horton and The Siegel Group of Manalapan, New Jersey. His post-secondary education included coursework at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, CO and Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO.
