In late 2003, the leadership of The Eastridge Companies and Concord Companies united to form a new company with an expansive vision – to become the nation’s leader in innovative and transformative mixed-use and public/private development.

Concord Eastridge, Inc. was founded on January 1, 2004. Concord Eastridge carries forth a legacy brought into being by the integration of two successful real estate companies, Concord Companies, LLC and The Eastridge Companies, LLC bringing a combined 20-year operating history.  Concord Eastridge was created as a broad development platform that targets both geographic as well as product diversity. Concord Eastridge is a majority woman-owned business. 

Concord Eastridge is led by a senior level group of executives with over 200 years of collective experience. This high level concentration of development talent allows the organization to aggressively focus on bringing complex and transformative mixed-use projects from conceptualization to full realization. The Concord Eastridge team is led by founding partners R. Jeffery Arnold (Concord) and Susan Eastridge (Eastridge) whose legacy firms are the foundation upon which Concord Eastridge has been built.

Concord Companies, LLC is the successor firm to Concord Partners, LLC founded in 1995. Headed by R. Jeffery Arnold (a 30-year industry veteran), its primary focus was in the development of downtown Class A office, suburban Class A office and mixed-use projects in the downtown and greater Washington, DC metro area. Additionally, as a fee based service provider, it performed development management and project management services for a variety of office and downtown mixed-use, and urban infill projects for both a public and private sector clientele. Concord Companies, LLC is still active today as an investor in real estate development projects.

The Eastridge Companies, LLC was founded in 1996 by Susan Eastridge and focused on the public/private development of educational facilities. With regional headquarters offices in Phoenix, Arizona serving the western U.S. and in Washington, DC, serving the eastern U.S., the Company’s roots include public and private K-12 and higher education projects. The Eastridge Companies, LLC today serves as a real estate brokerage and management affiliate of Concord Eastridge, Inc.

The expression “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts” aptly describes the formation of Concord Eastridge and its legacy into the future.
